Gauchipelín has become one of the major adventure centers in the area because of the wide variety of experiences you can have there. You can purchase any of the following tours separately, or, with their one-day Adventure Pass (9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. including lunch; adults $80, students ages 11 to 17 $75, children ages 4 to 10, $70) you can ride horses to the Río Negro for tubing or to the lodge’s mud pots and hot springs, hike in the national park, or take the lodge’s excellent Cañon Canopy Tour (minimum age 6; adults $50, students $40, children $30), which includes rock climbing, rappels, ziplines, hanging bridges, and a Tarzan swing. Recommended for those who want thrills and nature.
