If you order before 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on a Monday through Friday we guarantee your order will be shipped the same day (postal holidays listed below excepted). If you order after 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time or on a holiday or weekend your order will be shipped the next business day.

Typical times in transit are listed for each shipping method on the order forms. These times are typical/average/normal/90% of the time, but not guaranteed (except as expressly stated for guaranteed overnight). Times are often longer around holidays.

The only shipping option with a guaranteed delivery date and tracking option is Express Mail Guaranteed (U.S. addresses only). Please see service commitments from zip code 80521 to your zip code (usually overnight).

Packing Material

Our philosophy for shipping maps is to use minimal packaging to keep shipping costs and environmental impact low.

In very rare cases, replacing bubble wrap and boxes with recycled and recyclable envelopes and cradle to cradle priority packaging has allowed maps to be damaged in transit. Instead of going overboard on the packing materials we maintain a very liberal replacement/refund policy for the occasional damaged map (see Damaged in Shipping below).

We think it's worth it estimating we kept over 3,000 square yards of plastic film packing material out of the landfills last year alone.

We've also managed to keep our shipping rates the same even though postage rates have increased three times in the past couple of years.

Please help by recycling the small amount of packing material we do use. Thanks!

Damaged in Shipping

If you receive a map that was damaged in transit please contact us for a free replacement or refund (please include your full name and the Google Order Number).

There is no need to return the damaged map. If it is still useable, we'd appreciate it if you would drop it off at the nearest public or school library as a donation to their collection or give it to someone else who might be able to use it.
