Those who want closer contact with nature can stay at the Tirimbina Field Station (shared bath, heated water, kitchen facilities, $40/person including meals), bunk bed accommodations a 50-minute hike from the main offices, in the southeastern corner of the reserve; also accessible by car on a gravel road.
