Don Carlos is a well-run hotel in a pleasant historical neighborhood within walking distance of museums. It is filled with Costa Rican art and whimsical sculptures, has a sun deck, a gym, and a souvenir shop, and shows tour videos. Guests are greeted with a special Don Carlos cocktail.
